Terms and Conditions

We recommend you read these Terms and Conditions of service carefully before you place your order as using or purchasing from our website means you have understood the terms and agree to be bound by them.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier, just browse the products online and click any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have completed your selection, click on “View Basket” at the bottom of the page and you will be asked for the information that we need to be able to satisfy your order.

We accept most credit and debit card payments; these are handled by our secure credit card processing facility, Paypal. After an order is placed you will receive a Paypal email confirmation for the transaction amount. This means your bank has authorised the transaction but does not guarantee our acceptance of the order. On receipt of your order we will check the item/s are in stock and we will send you an email confirmation once the goods have been despatched. All items are subject to availability and we will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available Orders will only be processed and shipped if Pilola deems an order to be complete. An order is deemed to be complete if all the relevant imformation requested during the order process has been entered correctly and the terms and conditions agreed. You should ensure that you have supplied all the correct contact details. If your details are later found to be incorrect or have changed, you should contact us as soon as possible. We will not be responsible for deliveries made in reliance of incorrect details supplied by you.

Contract Formation

No contract will exist between Pilola and the customer until and unless Pilola despatches the Customer’s goods. Acceptance will be deemed complete and effectively communicated at this time. Ownership of the goods will pass to the customer on receipt of payment and despatch of the goods from Pilola.

Terms of Payment

Payment is required at point of sale. Goods will not be despatched until payment is received by a credit card payment via Paypal. If you wish to pay by cheque please contact us with details of your order and post a cheque to us.For posted orders please allow 5 days for your cheque to be cleared afterwhich we will despatch your order.

Prices

Prices are those shown on the Pilola website. Any orders placed will be calculated by using the prices listed on the Pilola website at the time of the placing of the order. The prices quoted are in British pounds.

Disclaimer

Every reasonable care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions and colour matching are accurate. However all measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photograhic and publishing processes will allow. Product descriptions can be changed by Pilola at any time.

Return of unwanted goods.

You have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased through our website with or without reason under the distance selling regulations for refund.This does not apply to any perishable goods or personalised items or those made to your specification. To cancel any item you must email or write to us within 7 days starting from the day after you receive the goods quoting your order number.You must take reasonable care of the item, retain all original packaging and must not use them. Items may be returned to us at our address listed on the contacts page. Any costs incurred in returning the item are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receipt of the unwanted items you will be refunded the full cost of the items. When returning goods in the UK please obtain a certificate of postage which is provided free on request by the Royal Mail or send via recorded delivery. We cannot be held responsible for goods that do not arrive.

Loss or Damage of Goods

Pilola will do our utmost to ensure that your order reaches you in good condition. However, if you are not entirely satisfied, please contact us immediately if your goods are incorrect, lost, delayed or damaged in transit, via email to info@pilola.co.uk . Unless notified within 7 days after delivery all products shall be deemed to have been accepted on delivery. Any item in your order which is lost, damaged or faulty will either be replaced at our cost or refunded in full. We will also reimburse your cost of returning the damaged goods to the equivalent of the second class registered post.

The above options are subject to receipt by us of the damaged item (s) in question and our reasonable satisfaction of the cause of damage or confirmation of non-delivery by the carrier.

Modifications to terms

Pilola reserves the right to change the Terms from time to time. We will keep you the customer informed of these changes by posting a notification on the website Homepage. Continued use of the website indicates the customer’s understanding and the acceptance of the modified terms. If the customer does not agree with these amended terms their sole recourse would be to discontinue use of the website.
